I'd Rather.....

I don't know why...but this morning this thought popped into my head as I was cleaning up the kitchen...it was of things I'd rather do....Silly I know...but, thought I'd just go ahead and share my list of those things :D

I'd Rather....be blonde (than the brunette color my hair wants to be :D)
I'd Rather...Bake than Cook
I'd Rather...Do the dishes than have them sit in the sink
I'd Rather....Make Cookies than Pies
I'd Rather...Clean the bathroom than dust
I'd Rather...Fold the clothes right out of the dryer, instead of waiting until later
I'd Rather...Be Cold than Hot...(You can always add more layers...but, when you're too hot and everything is already off...what can you do?)
I'd Rather...be at the front of a cow instead of the end
I'd Rather...go to the "girl" doctor than the dentist (Sorry, to much info :D)
I'd Rather...Clean my house than work in the yard
I'd Rather...Drink Water than Soda Pop
I'd Rather...Look before I leap :D (I always have to know the details...even the finite ones !)
I'd Rather...Be the passenger than the Driver
I'd Rather...Be 40 than 30 (Silly I know, but true!!!)
I'd Rather...Go to bed early than stay up late
I'd Rather...Watch Soap Operas than Game Shows (strictly speaking of daytime tv...and, hey, I'm never home during the week to watch those soaps :D Sorry, just felt the need for some justification to my sinful side..ha, ha)
I'd Rather...Give than Receive (Something I know I must work on!)
I'd Rather...Go to the Mountains than the Ocean
I'd Rather...Be early than late (but, it appears that never holds true..ha, ha.)

Mmmmm.....the more I think of it...the more things I find to add to my list...it could probably go on for two pages...Isn't it funny how in life there are things we want to do..and then those we'd rather not...Makes me smile to think that some things never change the older we get....When we were 3 there were definite things we'd rather not do..and at 40 it's still the same :D Thanks for reading my Rather not list...Hope your day is filled with lots of "I'd Rather" !
