I LOVE Sundays!!!   

What About YOU???

My Dream Sunday looks like this.....

~ Sleep in a bit
~ A slow start...some time to read the paper, have a cup of tea & stay in my jammies a little longer
~ Getting ready at my own pace...a little extra time in the shower, some pampering here & there
~ Maybe a "REAL" breakfast cooked (as in not from a box or microwaved  :D)  French Toast is usually  our menu favorite when time allows!
~ Sunday School

~ WORSHIP...and on my Best Sunday... my Mr. is seated right next to me...our hands intertwined
~ Then comes coffee hour..a chance to visit and catch up with our Church family

~  HOME !!!  To  lunch...and then, my favorite spot on the sofa, curled up with my blanket and kitty...and a nice NAP!!!

~ The rest of the day is filled with "just being"....maybe catching up on a thing or two...
~ A "made with Love" Sunday dinner
~ Always a phone call to my parents
~ Core Group  (Our Sunay evening bible study!)
~ Finally, snuggling up on the sofa with my Mr...

Awwwwww.......those are ALL the things that make for a perfect Sunday in my little world!!!

And, today...well, it was definitely one of those perfect Sunday's  :)     So, how do you like to spend your Sunday???  I HOPE it comes wrapped in His LOVE and filled with many Sweet blessings too!!!

P.S.  And, as I looked out my window this evening...look what God ended this Sunday with !!!

Rainbows always catch me by surprise...& I can't help but smile!

Today....

Today has been one of "those days"....

...I was running late to work this morning
...The clothes in my closet all starred at me....saying "don't pick me, don't pick me"
...The fire was out...and the house cool
...I called my Mr. as I was leaving work and he needed me to come home and help him sort off a soon-to-be Mama Cow
...The phone kept ringing
...dishes were waiting in the sink
...Rain drops kept teasing
...and the Grumpy words were spoken

But, even on "those days"....God's GOODNESS always, always prevails...

....With a little help Mama Cow has a sweet new baby full of energy like a jumping jack!
....A Preschool Mama brought a smile to my heart
....Many three year olds hugs and sharing day always bring laughter
...My Mr. is amazing at knowing what our Cows need and when...and He was HOME to take care of Mama Cow
....I came home to a warm house
....The gift of prayer...anytime and anywhere...

Today was a gift...with all the ughhs...and ohhhhs....the grumpies and smiles....sun and rain....it's all just a part of growing closer to HIM!   May you find Sweet blessings hiding on "those days" too  :)

P.S.  And, here's a little picture of our newest family member  :)  I just checked and it's a girl....YAY....that means she's going to get a CUTE name  :)  I'll have to check back soon and let you  know what it is!!!

Welcome March...but, how did you get here???

Really, it's March????  How did that happen...it seems like I just posted...oops...guess that was clear back in Octobor  :)  Time has a way of doing that lately...flying by!  Remember how our parents use to say "just wait til' your older...time goes by sooo fast."....Mmmmm...they were right!!!

And, I so miss finding time to come here and share all the ways God is at work writing our Story!!!  Once again, I think I'd better catch you up on what's been happening in my little corner of the world...so,  here it is.....

* After my parents moved here, my Grandma had a massive stroke...which was the end of October just as market season was ending.  She needed to be in the nursing home ...and then had another stroke and finally went to be with the Lord in November.   Although, it was sad letting go, God prepared the way, and just knowing she's at peace now brings peace to our hearts.

*November also brought our newest little GRAND niece ..Gracie !  It just seems like yesterday that we were at the hospital ooing over her Mama...and now, our Melissa (a.k.a Ladybug) is the Mama...Time...FLIES!

* Then in December my Dad had a quadruple by-pass...a totally unexpected event...but, ever so thankful that they live by us now and he was able to have the surgery in the Tri-Cities...!!  Did you know God's timing is AMAZING!  Not only do my parents live close enough that my siblings and I can help...but, it happened during Christmas break, when all 3 of us could be with them throughout the whole process!!!  Praising God for his timing, and all the ways He is at work!!!

* January brought the most crazy ICE storm I've ever seen!!!  As usual, my Mr. had to be on the road with his "real" job...which left me with the animals..and the ice...and trying to feed them without falling down!  Thank goodness for my handy dandy green feed cart..which became my walking cart...I'd load it up with hay and then be able to push it and stand up on all the ice!!!  It always makes me smile...when everyone is soooo happy for a "snow day"...because I know in my little world it only = more work!!!

* February brought new baby calves...from our late bloomers.  On Valentinen's Day we were blessed with twins...(something I never hope for !!!)  Thankfully, my Mr. was home...because the Mama needed some Vet assistance....both babies made it through the first day and night...little Valen and Tine is what my Mr. named them (which is rare...he doesn't usually name our babies...only I do  :D)  Anyway, after lots of coaxing, tube feeding, and warming up...little Tine just wasn't strong enough to make it.  :(    Although I hate moments like that...somehow I've just learned it's part of life and raising animals.

*And...now it's MARCH!!!  So looking forward to the earth coming alive again...to the last 5 babies we are waiting on....and of course my favorite part of March....the MARCH MADNESS, NCAA Basketball playoffs  :)

Praying March brings warmth, many smiles, and the Sweetest blessings to each of you too....!!!   Hoping ever soooo much that it also brings a litt'l more time for me to scribble on my blog!!! From my heart to yours...Sweet blessings!!!
