Happy August!
It's August??? How can that be??? Where did Summer go??? Although the weather has definitely felt like August weather...it just doesn't seem possible that the final month of Summer has arrived!
So, here's what's gotten checked off my Summer to-do list so far.....
X Summer School is done! It was a great work Summer...I had the BEST group of preschoolers ever :D
X We are half way through the farmer's markets!
X Some clutter has left the house :D
X My flowers are blooming like crazy...and I've accomplished turning my yard into the perfect color green!
X I've been able to connect with good friends
X I've spent a month without Chocolate, Baked goodies, Sugar-loaded items....Crazy, I know...but, part of my "take good care of this body plan" :D
X My house is totally clean!
X My bags are packed and ready for some girl time!!!
Yep, tomorrow morning at 8:00 I'm headed out the door to spend two 1/2 days with two of my precious college friends! (So, wishing the other three could join us...but, there won't be a day they aren't part of our conversations...and there with us in spirit!) This time we are venturing out to the town of Leavenworth, Washington...hoping for a little respite from the heat...but, most of all just looking forward to time being together and catching up! Life is just at it's BEST when shared with those who bless our hearts in the greatest ways!
So....from my little corner of the world to yours...Happy AUGUST! Praying it is filled with lots of X's on your to-do list...and even more time enjoying Life and it's many Sweet blessings!
