The GRUMPIES....

The Grumpies...how do they just sneak up on you...one minute you are happy and the next NOT so much??? Well, today it happened...both Miss Susy and I had a BAD case of the grumpies!!! It doesn't happen very often (I'd say maybe once or twice a school year... :D) But, today was one of those times....And, the funny thing is...kids seem to have a radar for those days...and they make the most of it!!! Thank goodness we have each other...because by the end of a LONG day, everything just becomes laughable....

The big one today was "Do You LOVE ME?"....the kids kept asking each other that...and one little guy said "NO...I only LOVE him" to one of the little boys asking...So, you can guess that led to a LONG talk about how everyone LOVES each other, because Jesus LOVES us and He wants us to Love one another..! Then, there was the tattling....lack of desire to pick up any toys at all....talking, talking, non-stop talking and interrupting...and in the end...I have to confess...it turned out to be a two Starbucks day :D

I'm praying tomorrow will be better...that there were enough grumpies for today...that when today ends, we'll both give Thanks to God for the sense of humor He blesses us with...and that I won't have to say "Do you see my face" anymore for at least a month!!!

I hope each of your days were filled with joy, laughter, peace, & NO GRUMPIES!!! (At least this time Mr. PPRM wasn't the recipient of that day..ha, ha...) Sweet blessings!

Talk about laughing right out loud (btw- I always love your comments- thank you so much)!

I can totally relate to a two Starbucks day. That's a knee-slapper.

When you posted that you're looking forward to not having to ask, "do you see my face?" a light bulb clicked for me. Now I know why when Ryan wants my attention and I'm [busy] he insists, "mom...mom...mom...turn your face around".

They listen to you. They really do. When their talking and interrupting...and fighting...and sassing...they are listening to the amazing things that you are teaching them.

I'm so very grateful for you- even the grumpy part!

Well I can totally relate!!! I bet you are a wonderful teacher though. Actually you remind me of a teacher that our two oldest children had. They went to a Christian Preschool - and would you believe they called her Mrs. T---for Tammy??!! I am getting a case of the grumpies because I cannot track your package!! I like to know where the packages I send off are...lately the info has not been showing up when I try to track packages. Well, hopefully you will get your goodies soon! Have a great evening.

Oh my goodness ... seriously ... it was that kind of day all around town :)

Mine was like a 12 pieces of licorice day though :) and a blizzard for lunch ... real good and healthy huh?!

Thank you for loving our little ones ... and us too! You're such a blessing to so, so many ... even on {grumpy} days!

We're all entitled to a grumpy day now and then! Hope you enjoyed yours because you don't get another one for a long time! I don't think all that bad weather you've gotten has helped peoples mood. I promise to think about you while we're in Mexico basking under the hot sun! Six days until take off!
